Job Summary:

As a Registered Nurse, you will play a crucial role in the delivery of nursing and care services within our home. Supervising the care team, you’ll ensure that resident care aligns with individual care plans, maintaining our commitment to quality, empathy, and professionalism.

Duties:

  • Implementing nursing care plans for residents.
  • Overseeing and coordinating care delivery by the care team.
  • Ensuring adherence to policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborating with the multidisciplinary team for holistic resident care.
  • Providing emotional support and comfort to residents and their families.
  • Implement nursing care plans, considering the physical and emotional well-being of residents.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Regularly assess residents’ health and well-being, adjusting care plans as needed.
  • Provide timely updates to the care team and families.
  • Offer guidance and support to the care team, fostering a collaborative and informed approach to resident care.
  • Participate in educational initiatives for continuous learning.
  • Serve as an advocate for residents, ensuring their rights, identity, and independence are maintained.
  • Address any concerns or needs promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain open and transparent communication with residents, families, and the broader care team. Keep accurate records of care plans and resident progress.

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse qualification (RGN/RMN/RNLD) with an active PIN.
  • Professional, diligent, empathic, and reliable work ethos.
  • Previous experience working in a care home or similar setting (desirable).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with residents, families, and team members.
  • A genuine passion for providing compassionate care, understanding the unique needs of older individuals.
  • Ability to adapt to the evolving needs of residents and the care environment.
  • Exhibit leadership qualities to guide and motivate the care team, ensuring a positive and collaborative atmosphere.

Salary: 

  • $40,000.00 Yearly
