Job Summary:
The Facility Manager plays a crucial role in managing various aspects of building operations and maintenance for the facility. This position involves overseeing repair and maintenance work, interacting with prospective tenants, and ensuring the overall well-being of the property.
Duties
- Coordinate, oversee, and manage repair and maintenance work performed by technicians, vendors, and contractors.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, attending client meetings.
- Perform general cleaning of the premises to maintain high standards.
- Review work orders to ensure assignments are completed satisfactorily.
- Conduct facilities inspections and prepare reports.
- Obtain and review price quotes for the procurement of parts, services, and labor.
- Manage vendor relationships and provide training on work order and billing procedures.
- Responsible for invoice processing and accuracy of cost center coding.
Requirement
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
- Minimum of two years of related experience and/or training.
- Prior supervisory experience preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable, and courteous service to customers.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and intranet/internet.
- Working knowledge of architectural, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Familiarity with leases, contracts, and related documents.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
- Minimum of two years of related experience and/or training.
- Prior supervisory experience preferred.
Financial Knowledge:
- Advanced knowledge of financial terms and principles.
- Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and commissions.
- Conducts advanced financial analysis.
Reasoning Ability:
- Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex documents.
- Ability to solve problems involving several options in different situations.
- Requires advanced analytical and quantitative skills.
Salary:
- $75,000.00 Yearly
