Job Description:

As a Grounds Maintenance Team Member, you will be an integral part of the team responsible for the care and maintenance of the university grounds.

Duties:

  • Undertake lifting, machine use, and various manual handling tasks to maintain the grounds.
  • Work outdoors throughout the year, contributing to the care of diverse habitats and gardens.
  • Plan and execute assigned tasks independently, with input into scheduling responsibilities.
  • Actively participate in training programs and continuously enhance your skills.
  • Carry out grounds maintenance tasks using common tools and machines safely.
  • Communicate effectively within the team and collaborate on various projects.
  • Utilize a full valid driving license to operate light vans for transportation.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and adherence to health and safety practices and expectations.
  • Contribute to a positive team environment through effective teamwork.
