Visa Sponsorship & Immigration Information:

WAH FONG GROCERY welcomes applications from foreign workers. For select candidates, the employer may consider providing a Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) to support a closed work permit under Canada’s Temporary Foreign Worker Program (TFWP), subject to business needs and regulatory approval. Sponsorship is not guaranteed and will depend on qualifications and the availability of local candidates.

If selected for sponsorship, the typical process involves the employer obtaining a positive LMIA, followed by the candidate applying for a Canadian work permit (which may include biometrics and a medical exam). Over time, eligible workers may explore permanent residence pathways such as Provincial Nominee Programs or the Canadian Experience Class, subject to meeting program criteria.

International applicants should prepare: a valid passport, updated resume/CV, employment references, any relevant training certificates, and proof of language ability if available. While language tests and ECAs are not usually required for TFWP positions, they can strengthen future immigration applications.

How to Apply:

  • Prepare an updated resume/CV in English tailored to produce handling or warehouse work.
  • Highlight relevant experience (sorting, grading, packing, quality checks, hygiene).
  • State your current work authorization status in Canada.
  • Include references or contact details for previous supervisors if available.
  • Ensure your passport and key documents are ready for verification if shortlisted.
  • Submit your application through the apply button on this page.
  • Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
