Prism Farms is seeking dependable Greenhouse Labourers to support daily crop production at our advanced facility in Leamington, ON. You will help with planting, pruning, harvesting, sorting, and packing produce while maintaining clean, safe, and efficient work areas.

This role is ideal for hardworking individuals who enjoy hands-on tasks and learning modern greenhouse practices. Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Planting & Crop Care: Assist with seeding, transplanting, pruning, and general plant maintenance to promote healthy growth.
  • Harvesting & Packing: Pick, sort, and pack produce according to quality standards and customer specifications.
  • Sanitation & Housekeeping: Keep greenhouse areas, aisles, and workstations clean and organized.
  • Monitoring & Reporting: Observe plant health and promptly report pests, diseases, or equipment issues to supervisors.
  • Safety & Compliance: Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety procedures at all times.
  • Tools & Equipment: Operate basic greenhouse tools and equipment safely and correctly.
  • General Support: Perform additional greenhouse tasks as assigned to meet production targets.

Requirements:

  • Ability to perform physical, repetitive tasks, including standing, bending, and lifting up to 25 kg.
