Responsibilities: As an English teacher at the college level, your main responsibilities will include:

1. Prepare teaching materials and outlines for courses to ensure effective delivery of content.
2. Administer tests and evaluate students’ progress by marking papers and providing feedback.
3. Deliver lectures and presentations to engage students and facilitate learning.
4. Lead discussion groups and seminars to promote critical thinking and student participation.
5. Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of college/university students.
6. Stay updated with current trends and developments in the field of English language and literature.

Requirements: To be considered for this role, the following qualifications and attributes are required:

1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in English or a related field.
2. Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of teaching experience at the college or university level.
3. Work Setting: Previous experience in a community college or technical institute is preferred.
4. Specialization: Strong command of the English language and expertise in English literature.
5. Teaching Format Experience: Familiarity with classroom-based teaching and facilitating discussions.
6. Security and Safety: Must pass a criminal record check and a medical exam.
7. Transportation/Travel Information: Travel expenses will be paid by the employer.
