Job Summary
Caremax Cleaning Services is expanding and seeking experienced Cleaning Supervisors to lead frontline cleaning teams across client sites in North York, Ontario. Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Team Supervision: Lead, motivate, and support cleaning staff across assigned client locations.
- Scheduling & Task Allocation: Create shift schedules, assign daily tasks, and balance workload based on site priorities.
- Quality Control & Inspections: Conduct regular site walk-throughs to verify cleanliness, safety, and service standards.
- Training & Onboarding: Train new hires on cleaning methods, equipment operation, WHMIS basics, and site-specific procedures.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and order supplies; maintain accurate stock levels and usage records.
- Health, Safety & Compliance: Enforce PPE use and safety rules; report incidents and ensure adherence to Ontario regulations.
- Client Service: Respond to client requests and concerns professionally, ensuring timely resolution.
- Reporting & Records: Maintain attendance logs, shift reports, and simple operational documentation.
Requirements:
- 1–2 years of supervisory experience in cleaning, janitorial, or facilities services (preferred).
- Solid knowledge of commercial cleaning standards, procedures, and common equipment.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move moderately heavy items as needed.
- Availability for occasional evening or weekend shifts.
- Valid authorization to work in Canada, or eligibility for employer-sponsored work permit via LMIA (subject to approval).
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- WHMIS/health and safety training is an asset (training may be provided).
Working Conditions:
- In-person work at commercial client sites in North York and nearby areas.
- Full-time schedule with potential evening/weekend shifts based on client needs.
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, and handling cleaning equipment and supplies.
- Travel between sites may be required; company procedures and PPE provided.
- Overtime may occur in line with operational demands and Ontario labour laws.

Visa Sponsorship & Immigration Information:
