As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our elderly service users, helping them with their daily needs and enhancing their quality of life.

In this rewarding role, you will be an integral part of our dedicated care team, providing personalized assistance to elderly service users. Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting service users with their hygiene, toileting, and physical needs to ensure their comfort and well-being
• Addressing emotional needs and providing companionship to create a supportive environment
• Collaborating with the activity coordinator to assist with planned activities and outings, enhancing the social experience of our residents
• Accompanying service users to hospital appointments as needed, offering valuable support during these times
• Engaging in light domestic tasks such as washing, ironing, meal service, and cleaning duties
• Working 24 hours a week, consisting of 4 x 6-hour shifts (8am-2pm and 2pm-8pm)
• Additional shifts available for holiday and sick cover, providing flexibility in your schedule

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Previous experience in a care role is beneficial, but not mandatory
• Compassionate and empathetic nature, with a genuine desire to make a difference in the lives of others
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with residents and team members
• Ability to work effectively within a team and follow care plans accurately
• Flexibility to work different shifts and cover extra shifts when needed
