Job Summary:
As an Automotive Service Technician and contribute to the maintenance and repair of vehicles to the highest standards. you will play a pivotal role in diagnosing and addressing vehicle malfunctions, ensuring the satisfaction of our valued customers. The role requires technical expertise, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to delivering top-notch automotive services.
Duties:
- Perform maintenance and repair tasks on vehicles according to established standards and manufacturer specifications.
- Utilize strong diagnostic skills to identify the source of malfunctions and efficiently carry out the required repairs.
- Ensure all vehicles are qualified for warranty coverage before initiating warranty repairs, adhering to dealership policies.
- Examine vehicles thoroughly to determine if additional safety or service work is necessary, providing comprehensive assessments.
- Conduct road tests using safe driving standards to evaluate the performance of repaired vehicles.
- Maintain accurate records of all performed maintenance and repairs, documenting findings, and providing detailed reports to the service manager.
- Interact with customers to understand their concerns, explain the scope of necessary repairs, and address any questions or concerns regarding vehicle maintenance.
- Work collaboratively with other service technicians, parts department, and service advisors to ensure seamless workflow and effective communication.
- Stay informed about the latest advancements in automotive technology, attending training sessions, workshops, and keeping up-to-date with industry trends.
- Collaborate with the parts department to order necessary components for repairs, ensuring timely availability of required parts.
- Perform quality checks on completed work to ensure that all repairs meet high-quality standards and adhere to manufacturer specifications.
- Strictly adhere to safety protocols and guidelines during all aspects of vehicle maintenance, ensuring a safe working environment.
Requirements:
- Strong product knowledge, particularly in automotive technology.
- Technical/mechanical repair aptitude.
- Good time management skills to efficiently handle repair tasks.
- Organizational ability and attention to detail for thorough inspections.
- Minimum of two (2) years in a technician position.
- Previous experience in a general dealership.
- Hold a 310S license.
- Preferred: Experience with the Audi brand.
Salary:
- $40,000.00 Yearly.
